Independent study.
This course has been designed for independent study. Fundamentals of Biology focuses on the basic principles of biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, recombinant DNA , Anatomy of the human body and many other realms associated with biology. These principles are necessary to understanding the basic mechanisms of life and anchor the biological knowledge that is required to understand many of the challenges in everyday life, from human health and disease to loss of biodiversity and environmental quality.
The units offered in the course can be used individually or in combination. The materials for each unit include:
- Interactive concept quizzes.
- Discussions with teachers and fellow students in the study group.
- Problem sets and suggested topics and links for further study.
Live 1-1 interaction with teachers on Zoom.
Our lectures are not pre-recorded. Once enrolled, you will be taking live classes with your teacher who will help you achieve your academic goals. Currently we offer two class formats. The first ones are individual sessions, in which you will be the sole student under the supervision of a teacher. Our second virtual environment is the buddy study group, in which you will be taking live classes with 5-6 other students under the surveillance of a biology teacher. All of our lectures are based on discussions, quizzes and games to enhance your learning experience.
Monthly subscription fee.
Our subscription packages are based on the number of active lessons students will have with our teachers in a week. For Pakistani students, the package is given below.
- Each session is worth Rs. 3500/- Our sessions are 60 minutes long. Students can design their own timetable with us. (For example, a student might say “I want to have two sessions in a week on so-and-so days.)
- Each session will be worth $25.
